Compare to the active ingredients in Vicks® NyQuil® Cold & Flu. Nighttime Cold & Flu Relief Mixed Berry Flavor temporarily relieves common cold and flu symptoms: cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation, sore throat, headache, minor aches and pains, fever, and runny nose and sneezing.

Nighttime Cold & Flu Relief Mixed Berry Flavor contains acetaminophen, a pain reliever and fever reducer to help relieve aches, fever and sore throat; dextromethorphan HBr, a cough suppressant to help relieve cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation; and doxylamine succinate, an antihistamine to help relieve sneezing and runny nose.

A cold usually includes a runny nose, sore throat, sneezing, and coughing. These symptoms can last for up to two weeks. Over 200 viruses can cause the common cold. The rhinovirus is the most common type of virus that causes colds. Influenza (flu) is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses infecting the nose, throat, and lungs. It can cause mild to severe illness. Serious outcomes of flu infection can result in hospitalization or death. Some people, such as older people, young children, pregnant women, and people with certain health conditions, are at high risk for serious flu complications. There are two main types of influenza (flu) virus: Types A and B. The influenza A and B viruses that routinely spread in people are responsible for seasonal flu epidemics each year.

Inactive ingredients: alcohol, anhydrous citric acid, FD&C blue no. 1, FD&C red no. 40, flavor, high fructose corn syrup, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, purified water, saccharin sodium, sodium citrate.

  • Do not exceed 4 doses per 24 hours.

Adults and children 12 years and over: 30 mL every 6 hours.
